This software is simple, versatile, effective, convenient and affordable.
There are so many nice features, all well thought and implemented.
The software is beautifully suited to the general aviation and recreational pilot environment.
With my terrain mapping in external cache and the ability to create and load a mix of direct and curved (bad weather route)GPX tracks, on board flight tracking is a delight, (and voice guidance gives the option of switching the screen off)
Follow a student’s flight back at base, or record the flight for later retrieval.
Thinking of purchasing expensive, certificated and dedicated equipment?
Forget it.
Those days are over.
This software does the job and more.

Im Grunde ein tolles GPS Programm, gute Sprachunterstützung Deutsch, die Menüführung gefällt mir besser als beim Programm GPS Tuner. Was aber bei mir gar nicht funktionierte, ist ein Zielpunkt setzen und dann für diesen Google Map Dateien herunter zu laden. Auch die Kalibrierung von externen Dateien klappte bei mir gar nicht. Aber mit GPS Position per GPS Maus klappt alles. Die 15 Minuten Testzeit ist zum Test kaum zu gebrauchen. Wenn die Kalibrierung funktionieren würde und das geziehlte vorabladen von Karten .... So bleibe ich beim super funktionierenden GPS Tuner (Bedienung aber gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber alles funktioniert super, mit endlosen Funktionen, aber Resourcenfresser). Getestet mit HP Hx4700

I have tried a number of GPS applications, and this one is the coolest. For two main reasons. The "TrackMe" feature allows me to share my location. My family can follow me real-time using internet explorer (Google Map interface). I use it especially when I travel or visit new places. Another excellent feature is the ability to choose between online Google map (with internet connection; GPRS, Wifi) or locally-stored map. Excellent product!!!

The best GPS app available. This one does everything from the basics (making tracks and points) through to live map downloads from GM. There is even a virtual training partner to keep you in shape. Add to this importing almost any image a nd calibrate it as a map, convert coordinates and analyse your tracks, and communicate with your friends online through the mobile phone network (not for us Aussies though, our networks suck) you cannot do better.

This is the gps app with it all! Whether you want to create tracks, import maps, run agains a virtual training partner or convert coordinates, this does it and much more.Live map downloads from GM and communicate with your friends while online. The upgrade cost to version 3 was worth every penny (Ive been using this since version 1.6!)

This is an excellent application, the number of features / cost of the item in incredible. The facility for my staff to be able to locate where I am really makes meeting scheduling flow smoothly.

I take using the program but of a month and have to say that it has been very useful in special because I travel so much by the world and often the cities that I visit there are no navigation programs. It is very useful to score sites key before the trip (hotel, clients, restaurants, etc) and soon once to have already all the maps of the city unloaded of google there to be able to orient itself. Another thing that I value very much is the support that occurs of the application and that seems to me impressive nonsingle the aid but that it asks the registered users ideas and they are going away to implement. An exceptional product, useful and that in addition can be used for multitude of occasions.

Hervorragend! Vorallem die Anbindung an Google ist cool. Endlich habe ich per GPRS auch ein Sat-Bild von meinem Standort. Einfach super - aber es dauert eine Weile, bis man das Programm verstanden hat.

I purchased Tracky because I could not find any GPS for Mexico. I downloaded maps from the web site and stored them on my PDA phone. In Mexico I simply loaded Tracky and easily got around town. I love the route-tracking feature and used it all the time. I saved the routes for work, laundry, airport, etc. The trackalizer tool is excellent to monitor and improve my biking workouts. I highly recommend this tool.

Mit meinem MEDION 96700 PDA haben die 15 Minuten Testphase nicht mal gereicht um das GPS "anzuwärmen". Er findet es zwar, aber das wars auch - keine Anzeige, keine Satelliten, nix. Mein Navigon und CompeGPS funktioneren aber. Kein Handbuch dabei. Kein Kartendownload möglich, wie man Karten installiert bleibt ein Geheimnis bis man auf die Internetseite des Herstellers geht. Urteil: es gibt besseres...

Ich habe gefunden, dass Tracky durchweg eines der besten Stücke der gps Software ist, die ich besitze. Mit seiner breiten Reihe von Eigenschaften von Koordinatentypen bis sofort scalabel Karte-Schirm reist diese Software ein wenig mehr ab, um gewünscht zu werden. Eines der Hauptmerkmale ist die Fähigkeit, Karten über die Website des Autors von Google-Karten zu importieren und sie gerade in Tracky zu verwenden, sofort kalibrierte Benutzerkarten gebend. Ich gebe ihm die Spitzenkerbe.

Ich habe mehrere 'offroute' PDA Navigationsprogramme getestet, dabei hat mir Tracky eindeutig am besten gefallen. Es ist leicht zu installieren und verstand sich problemlos mit meiner Hardware (GPS onboard, 240x240 display). Die Bedienung ist zwar etwas unkonventionell, aber nach kurzer Eingewöhnungszeit kein Problem mehr. Der Funktionsumfang erfüllt alle meine Wünsche: Maps importieren und falls nötig einfach kalibirieren , Routen aufzeichnen, auswerten und exportieren, POIs setzen... Vor allem das Kalibrieren von Maps anhand zweier Punkte hat mich beeindruckt, weil dies bei anderen Programmen so leicht nicht möglich war. Da meine Hardware (FSC t830) aufgrund der onboard GPS Antenne vergleichsweise empfangsschwach ist, weiss ich auch die GPS Features wie Satellitenstatus und Genauigkeitsanzeiger sehr zu schätzen. Zusammengefasst kann ich Tracky sehr empfehlen.

Hallo, Ich habe Tracky letzter woche gekauft. Ich war auf die suche nach ein PDA-tool wo man auch Karte einlesen kan. In Tracky kan man via http://www.trackthisout/tm.html, sehr schön. Was ich auch zer gut finde is die Möglichkeit um via das Internet zu tracken. Kan man zum Beispiel benutzen wann mann im Stau steht. Also, ein sehr gutes Programm fur mich.

This software works very well on my pocket PC (WM 5), and it is very easy to use. The possibility th catch some google maps directly is a very good point. I have test other softwares like this one, and I think it is the best.

After checking out some other GPS software I finally came acress Tracky. It has all the things I need for GPS software in my PDA. Especcially the TrackMe feature is great (and fun). Since Geocaching is one of my hobbies, Tracky makes it possible to use it for Geocaching as well, which comes in handy sometimes (When I am on the road and forgot my GPSR). Seeing the altitude when driving is also great. Altogether, great software which I will use a lot.

After much searching for the best, reasonably priced gps software for my pda I finally found Tracky! It has a very user friendly display which is fully configurable, includes all the usuals we expect in a gps package - position, distance, and track. The author has also included g-force and slope for those who like to move fast. Statistics from all of these can be viewed in a configurable graph. One feature I use all the time now is that when you touch the screen, you are given the distance from all the points to the location that you have selected. This makes my job so much easier. There are so many features in this software that I was very surprised when I first used it. Add to this a pdf user's manual, and it's as close to the perfect package as you're going to get. Tracky needs a good read of the instructions, but once running, I don't think you'll look back! This is easily the best in the market for the price.

got the upgrade was having some trouble and support bent over backwards to fix it for me!!! and the app is solid and can go to thier web site and save your map to hand held or desktop and have every thing you need in hand!

Unlike several competitors, this appplication works first time out of the box. With no additional installs required and no complex setup stages, it works like a charm. All common GPS features are represented, and work perfectly. Map creation is not only simple (truly), but elegant, using the online page at the author's website. The map selection is automatic, so the user merely has to create maps for the areas in which they are interested, and choose the appropriate scale. Eg. I use a complete european map, with high scaled maps of the areas in which I am interested. Finally, the documentation is comprehensible and is easy on the eye.

Not only does the program perform as promised, but the developer provides invaluable support. Indeed, when I asked a question about support for tracks generated by others, he wrote a new version within a day or so. Just a wonderful experience using the program and dealing with the developer.

Now it has a "Track-me" feature which enables free download of Google maps straight to you PDA. Worked like a charm in the Czech Republic recently. not only that, others can follow your progress from a PC...Live! Never crashes on my i-Mate JAM. Has POIs, Track recording and analysis and even works alongside British Grid Ordnance Survey maps using the correct datum. Ideal for walkers and hikers. Does everything and does it well.
